Swim Team Conditioning bridges the gap between swim lessons and the rec league programs. This program is designed to mainstream swim lesson or beginner swimmers into the swim team training environment, or be an alternative conditioning option for athletes involved in other activities. Additionally, we have expanded this program to be offered to our High School athletes who would like to participate in off-season training. Our goal is to build a fundamentally sound technique-based swimming program that focuses on refining freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. Swimmers will be introduced to learning racing skills, such as flip turns, streamlines, and diving starts.
Requirement: All participants 8 and under must be able to swim 25 yards without touching the bottom of the pool or stopping in freestyle or backstroke strokes. All participants 9 and over must be able to swim 50 yards and must have passed Level 5 of swimming lessons or passed a swim evaluation to participate in this program
Program registrations: Registrations are on a first come first serve basis until the program has reached max capacity. Each practice group/time is limited due to lane space and availability. Please know that we can accommodate up to 10 swimmers in a practice lane.
